Hanukkah or the Festival of Lights is a Jewish holiday celebrated by the Jews for a period of 8 days, starting from 25 th of the month of Kislev according to the Hebrew calendar, and its date varies according to the Gregorian calendar between the last week of November and the last week of December. Hanukkah is one of the small Jewish holidays and is not a holiday, but rather a happy period, characterized by refraining from mourning and expressing grief, and by performing some special religious rituals.
