Christopher Walken has been prolific performer in theatre, television, and film, his movies have brought in more than $1.6 billion.

Before gaining widespread recognition as the damaged Vietnam War veteran Nick Chevotarevich in The Deer Hunter , Walken had roles in films including The Anderson Tapes, Next Stop, Greenwich Village , Roseland (1977) and Annie Hall (1977). He won the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for his work. For his performance as conman Frank Abagnale's father in Steven Spielberg's Catch Me If You Can , he received the same nomination.

Since his debut, Walken has played both the lead and supporting roles in movies of many genres.These include A View to a Kill , The Dead Zone , and The Dogs of War (1980).

The Comfort of Strangers (1990), King of New York (1990), The Dead Zone (1983), Batman Returns (1992), True Romance (1993), Pulp Fiction (1994), Suicide Kings (1997), Sleepy Hollow (1999), Man on Fire , Seven Psychopaths , A Late Quartet (2012), the first three Prophecy movies, and Percy (2020) are some examples. Additionally, he contributed voice acting for The Jungle Book and Antz (and two animated movies.
