The history of toothbrushes returns to 3500 – 3000 BC, when the Egyptians and Babylonians laste flayed the ends of twigs to make toothbrushes, but the modern toothbrushes were invented in 1780 by William Addis by attaching pig bristles to a specially carved handle, which made from cow bone, and his design was developed further in 1844, and in 1938, Du Pont invented nylon, then by the 1950’s toothbrushes’ bristles became much softer.
