Yes, canned cat food should be refrigerated  at temperatures between 40-45°F if it is open and any unused quantity needs to be refrigerated in an airtight container. After taking it out of the refrigerator, food should be left at room temperature for thirty minutes, or put in the microwave for a few seconds before feeding the cat because some cats do not like cold food
