Yes,  Isaac Newton discovered the law of gravity when he was sitting under an apple tree, and an apple fell on the ground. And why did the apple fall vertically and did not fall to the right or the left? He concluded that there was something that affected the apple and made it fall to the ground, so he began to think about what are the causes until he knew that there is a gravity on the earth that attracts things towards it,.
