The  Grinch Stole Christmas  is children's book released in 1957 by Dr. Seuss Grinch, the protagonist in Hovel Town, his only friend is his loyal dog (Max). He hares Christmas because  his heart is made of two very small parts, and he makes a plan to steal Christmas gifts and Hughes trinkets, some thing that forces him to masquerade as Santa Claus.

After about a decade, in 1966, it turned the story into a famous cartoon story of the same name, directed Chuck Jones.
