What a teacher can do to make the materials more engaging is he can stimulate the students curiosity by making inspiring and stimulating presentations along with activities and assignments that  make the students feeling  more control of the material and makes them even more curious to know about it
Teachers also should connect learning to real life also as a result of Teacher interacting with students with different minds and intelligences so his learning technique should be engaging all kind of intelligences .
As a matter of fact when it comes to learning sitting is not a great way to keep alert so teachers should also encourage movement in the classroom and not just sitting on the chairs .
In modern days kids love technology always using mobile phones , tablets whatsoever so teachers also should include technology in their learning methods as it interacts with the kids Minds and stimulates them to get more engaging with the material they're studying .
