If you run in cold weather with breathing rapidly from your mouth, this will transport huge amounts of cold air into your respiratory tract and lungs. Because of cold air, irritation and narrowing will occur to your bronchi and alveoli resulting in shortness of breathing even cyanosis could be found in severe conditions.
