The z-test is one of the types of parametric statistical tests and aims to contrast and compare the value of the statistical community with the arithmetic mean of the community sample. It also aims to assess the percentage of differences in the characteristics  of the sample from the characteristics of the statistical target population of which this sample is considered a part.
