The Saxons were the founders of England kingdom and English nation. they were a group of Germanic tripes who migrated from continental europe in 5th century and lived in the land. Their period is between 450-1066. Anglo Saxon language is known by old english which is used in write from mid 5th to 12 century. Christinity and literature had flourished in their era.
