Corruption is dishonest acts carried out by people who hold positions of authority, such as managers, government officials and others, in order to achieve private gain. Examples of corruption phenomena include giving and accepting bribes and inappropriate gifts, illegal political transactions, fraud or deception, and manipulation of the results. Elections, money transfer, fraud, money laundering and more.

Corruption is a form of crime committed by a person or organization towards a state or authority entrusted to it, in order to obtain an unlawful benefit or power to achieve personal gain and purposes. Corruption is most common in drug states, and mafia states.
