When the rains that contain dissolved carbon dioxide fall on the eroded land, in which salt appears among its components, the salts mix with the water Also, every ocean has different salinity from others in different regions, and after the Pacific Ocean, the oceans are the most salty, as the evaporation rate is large.

Ocean water is salty because it’s formed by rainwater, where carbon dioxide dissolves into, and makes it slightly acidic, so rocks are weathered by this rain, releasing mineral salts, which separate into ions.
