Yes, ripe avocados should be kept in the fridge up to 2-3 days to hold them fresh. But if your avocado isn't fully ripe, put it on your table. Then after  4-5 days, the avocado will ripen and be prepare for eating.

Avocados should be stored at room temperature if they are not quite ripe, as refrigerating an unripe avocado will slow the ripening process.
However, ripe avocados should be stored in the refrigerator to keep them at their peak ripeness for as long as possible.
