Reconstruction in some historical schools is a success and in other it's a failure.

The Reconstruction era is a remarkable period in the American history from 1863 to 1877, after the American Civil War.

- It's considered as a failure because the African Americans didn't take their right and the economy in the South wasn't renewed.

- And as a success because the United States became a united nation.
