how come cats don't like water

Cats don't like water and hate getting wet not because they are lazy or hate being clean but there  are some reasons for that like:

 Water makes their fur heavy and unlike dogs, the fur of cats isn't waterproof so they get colder faster.

It's strange but real that some cats are sensitive to the chemicals of the water from the tap.

Some cats fear the water because they are naturally insecure.

And when it comes to take a bath you must be gentle with your cat, don't push the cat into the water and make sure the water is worm.
