No, Baking soda doesn't expire as it is valid indefinitely, but it loses its effectiveness over time, so we consider its validity for two years, and after opening the package, it is 6 months in order for it to be effective, but if the period exceeds that, it is considered safe to eat and to make sure that it is still effective, you can take a spoonful of it and put it in a cup of water, or put an acidic liquid such as lemon juice, if an eruption occurs, it is still considered effective.
